EUROCASH GROUP
IS A PATRON OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP

IN POLAND

We have been helping independent entrepreneurs in Poland to develop for over 25 years. We provide them with innovative cooperation models and effective business support tools. As a result, their stores can compete with hypermarket, supermarket and discount chains. It is the owners of local stores who are at the center of our business, and our mission is to enable them to meet the needs of their clients and develop their own business in line with the latest trends in retail. That is why we are boldly looking to the future, for the next 75 years!

Eurocash Group's strategy
for 2023-2025

The LEADING
FMCG DISTRIBUTOR
IN POLAND

We are the largest Polish company in wholesale distribution of fast-moving consumer goods of food products, household chemicals, alcohol and tobacco products as well as marketing support for independent stores in the country. By combining our business experience with the entrepreneurship of local store owners and the commitment of Eurocash Group employees, we set ourselves the goal of becoming the leading distributor of FMCG in Poland.

THE HISTORY OF
EUROCASH GROUP

Support for independent entrepreneurs in Poland has always been at the heart of the Eurocash Group's operations. In 2003, Luis Amaral - General Director of Jeronimo Martins in Poland until 1999 - together with a group of collaborators, decided to carry out a management buy-out of the Eurocash wholesale Cash&Carry chain from its then owner - Jeronimo Martins. The team noticed that when the market develops towards large-format stores, including discount stores, the owners of small-format stores face difficulties. To ensure their competitiveness in relation to the largest chains, Eurocash increased the attractiveness of its wholesale offer and developed new models of cooperation with owners of local stores, believing that independent trade is the future of the market in Poland.

The adopted strategy soon began to bring tangible benefits - by 2004 the company already recorded a profit, and in April 2005 Eurocash S.A. made debut on the Stock Exchange. The next years of operation show the stable and sustainable development of the company.
